Default Moving seat back

I have a 29 Business Coupe that belonged to my dad when he was young. 45 years ago he and I did a minimal restoration on it so I could drive it around town.
I'm now doing a ground up restoration on it the frame and drivetrain are done, now on to the body. After driving my 28 RPU I realize I need more leg room if I'm going to be able to drive it any distance. I have decided to take the rear package tray out so I can move the back of the seat back. I need to move the seat riser back also, that looks like a major hassle, so my question is that something that can be done?
