Hi
My 40 Deluxe has a 1/8 inch white fender welt type plastic moulding between the dash and the windscreen garnish moulding that is pretty crappy and I would like to replace it. Anyone know what this moulding is called and where to buy it? Thanks |

I think Macs has them, about 50 inches long.

It's called welting, and Roy Nacewicz has it: http://www.fordscript.com/ford_bolts/products.html. It comes in black, and is to be painted the same color as the dash, i.e., Mandarin Maroon for '40 Deluxe, if memory serves (help me out here, Kube

The correct welting is available from Roy Nacewicz.
http://www.fordscript.com/ford_bolts/products.html BUt seeing that you are from down under, you might be able to source it locally. It is the same as the fender welting and is 49 3/4" long. It should be painted the same maroon as the dash.
