Are you sure it's a 37? It might be a 38 standard. It will take a lot of work to bring that one back but I've seen worse brought back from the dead.

I'm not sure of anything on this car. I know I really like how it looks but I won't keep it.

Look at the rear wheel wells; I'd love to have one that solid. If I could find one that good, I'd embark on another project at the tender age of 71. Major score in my book. If you don't believe me, check out some of the build threads on the H.A.M.B. where the bottom half of the doors are missing.

Trim holes on rear quarter and door suggest '38. Also, no peak in fender above headlight.........'38! DD

Thanks guys, yep after looking at pictures on ebay, this is a 38 because of the rear deck handle is a larger T kind of shape and the 37 is like a door handle. At least that is what I saw. Surprisingly the deck lid is the best part of the car.

That looks to be in the same shape as my 36 cabriolet when I started. It only takes time and money.

WOW That's a good find ,from what I can see the floor looks in good shape. You will find the missing bits I think OK for a 38 .build it up if you can .

A 6in. bulls eye in the middle of that door would have a good life with who ever was shooting at it. Walt

Make it a 37. Easier to find parts for it.

I think it has beautiful body lines but if I were to build it I would put either a 37 or a 40 front end on it. I prefer them over 38 or 39s. I know it would not be really correct but I think a 40 coupe is one of the prettiest cars around. I did find a 38 Hearse with a complete front end. If I did not have the Mustang and Model As to build I would go get it and use it to build the 38, with a 38 front end because the price on the hearse is good.

A 40 is a pretty car. But to be able to bolt up the 40 front end. Would be a lot of work. I have seen the hearse on Craig's list. I'm guessing that's the one your talking about. I allso have a 38 standard. That I eventually will get it made into a 37.
