I use an SBC Fluidamper balancer, modified to fit.

I do these quite often, they just need to be bored a few thousands, should be a press fit to do any good. The expensive part of this, is: You have to have a pulley made for your application. I can do this but the cost of material has gone up.

I used it on a dragster that turns up a lot of RPM. It blew up the cast iron 1950 pulley that was on it, so I figured a harmonic damper pulley might make the crankshaft a little happier. No more problems. Probably not as important on a street motor with normal RPM.
