Default Y Block parts

Has anyone dealt with 49merclover on this site? He advertises that he has the parts but I send him private messages even post and call him and leave messages but he does not respond?

That is a very strong sign to not send him any money,it would probably be the last you see of it.Run a Google search on him and the phone number you just never know what might come up.

He answered my request saying he had the part but never followed through when I said I would buy it. I think he just likes to answer ads and give false information.

I asked him a question one time about whether or not a Y block four barrel intake had the choke mount on the intake itself (55 and earlier) or if it was the intake that was a 56 (carb mounted choke as we all know). He asked me why I needed to know and that it was a 4 barrel intake, what's the big deal. When I told him why he told me not to ask him any more questions to which I kindly did NOT.

Stay away from any seller that drills a buyer with questions like "why do you need to know" or says things like "they are all the same" lol. Who knows, I could have plunked down the money and got a Chevrolet quadrajet intake for a small block lol!!!
