Default help me stay on track here...

i wanted so badly to do a go to a downdraft carb setup.. i have been thinking about staying with a stock intake and carb, I do have a carb but is in need of one help badly. it leaks drive and doesnt preform ok. now where you one get a good carb that will work properly and not leak. i kinda wanna stay with the stock look. thanks for any input.

If your car set for lenght of time your gaskets are dried out. you need to rebuild carb. If need more help call 574-221-1475 my name is Terry live in northern Indiana.

Model A carburetors can be temperamental, many have problems with leaks.The new replacement Zenith carbs that some call the fork lift carb may be your best bet. Many report that the new Zenith replacement carbs don't leak or make the garage smell like gas. another good point could be that the new carbs don't have the GAV adjustment on the choke that confuses so many. just a thought.
