DodlRodz: it looks like that is farm driven. Loosen the lug nuts just a little bit (as in leave them finger tight) and then drive it in a circle. Hopefully the force from the vehicle will pop it loose.

Elrod, Thanks I'll try that, I didn't want to break anything beating on it.

Here is my junk.
The 1964 Galaxie is my baby. The pic is from Hot August Nights 2007 but I go every year. The Truck is a 1928 that we've owned for almost 10 years but just sat in the garage until I finally made the time to make it move under its own power. I'm really having a great time with it, and so are the kids. Thanks and have agreat day, Joe Middletown, Ca |

That's our picture on the avatar. It was taken in Christmas Parade in 2008. It is scattered all over the shop now, but going back together anyway.

Here's my 31 coupe. Currently running a Model B motor with a 39 transmission. The Model B has a lightened flywheel, Snyder's high compression head, Ansen down draft intake with a Stromberg 97 carb. I'm in the process of converting over to 12 Volts with a vintage Mallory distributor that is getting converted to electronic.

Dennis,
Your pickup looks a lot like mine. I even have the same type plywood top as you do. The entire top was missing including all the wood except for a little bit of the header. I hope to start on it in a year or two years from now when I finish my special coupe and phaeton. That might be wishful thinking, as it always takes a lot longer to do things than I hope for. |
