no i don't have new questions regarding those threads, i was reading up on heads and since i don't like to always skim through days of reads i thought it best to group threads together that refer to the subject i am following up on. sure they'l go back a ways but there i've got them filed in my activity. if i read something and not involved in the thread it gets lost in the mix. i didn't mean to bother you with that , sorry.

are you being notified of when a user comments on a thread you'd started or were previously active on and now over it ? is there an option to not notify one of continuous responses, and if i'd like to follow up on something again and not comment or respond what is the best way to not bother those who've written up on it and now over it, or am i forced to read through miles of threads and mentally group together posts by other users?
not to piss anyone off but the search box doesn't always satisfy my search.
if i want to read everything posted on here regarding valves and only valves, thats a lot of information to read through and it's somewhat disorganized .
not to knock it, this FordBarn is a great tool with loads of information and you guys know what you are doing and it works great.
thanks.

How does the BTT help with that? In order to post the BTT, you have to find the thread first. If you've found it, just read it where it is. If you want to organize to fit your personal needs, bookmark the thread or save it as a pdf or webpage on your computer.

Yes, I second that. I'm also not sure how it benefits your ease in finding/tracking your posts, but everyone then has to skip thru them. It's like files on a traditional desktop. Once they become outdated you file them, or let them stay at the bottom of the stack. You don't put them on the top of your paperwork.

No attitude in this at all and I'm sure the same is true of you...no problem, it's just not polite forum conduct.
