I am converting cowl lights to turn signals on '29 Fordor. I bought the kit from Snyder's to convert cowl lights to turn signals that consisted of a new reflector bulb and yellow and red bulb wires and a ground. The bulb is clear.
(1.) The turn signal diagram shows one wire to the turn signal. Is the yellow or red a ground? Why is there also a ground from the reflector base? (2.) The turn signal bulb is clear as is my lens. They sell amber lens for 30-31 but not for 29. Can I buy 6 volt amber bulbs 21 cp or better. Didn't see them. There used to be little bottles of amber bulb or lens paint you could buy. Is it still available? (3.) I bought the LED tail lights for the rear and again they have two wires, black and green. The diagram shows one wire connecting the two lights. I assume one wire is the ground...green or black? ![]() |
