I have this one if someone needs it. I have no use for it so $50 would be plenty. Just pm me if you can use it. Not sure if it works.

I was using a coil like this for a long time, but last week it died - the secondary winding is open. Is there any possible way to repair it? Is that sleeve that holds the top in place soldered on? Or should I just toss it? Doug

The amount of work to repair a coil is likely way out of proportion to its value. Remember the components are (best case) immersed in oil or (worst case) sealed in hardened epoxy.

What does the circled SP on the coil represent? I assume a manufacturer?

I have one that I would also sell for $50 plus postage (probably under $10 in a small box), since that seems to be the going rate for these rare script coils on this website. There are no dents. I don't know if it works, but I have no reason to think it doesn't. $50 as is plus postage, working or not, rain or shine, pretty much cleaned to bare metal.

Most of the original coils I've seen will work when you get started but lose strength quickly as they heat up.
