Default Tube life/storage

How long do new tubes last in their packaging? I bought a bunch for the move and they are still folded up in their bags. The move was three yrs. ago and they may have been old at the store. Should I store them that way or partially inflated?

Thanks,

Mike

They can crack where they have sharp bends from being folded. I would open them and check condition, then partially inflate. Store in a dark space away from sunlight.

If youre not going to use them for a few yrs, sell them and buy them when you actually need them.

Partially inflate as Flathead said and store them in a dark, cool place. Old tubes, that are too old to use on a car, make heavy duty rubber bands. Cut slices out of them at the width you want.
