Default Swans' neck mirrors on a '46 Super

I have a '46 Super Deluxe convertible with those mirrors mounted on the side of the cowl replacing a piece of side chrome molding. It's impossible to see anything out of them.

There are also a pair of short shanked mirrors mounted on the doors which do work. Quite a strange look with two mirrors per side.

Does anyone out there have the 4 1/2 +/- inch pieces so I can remove the swan neck mirrors. Or are reproduction pieces available.

46 trim is not reproduced You will depend on good used trim.

Thank you. I thought that may be the case.

I had the same problem on my 41. I went with door mounted mirrors after removing the cowl mounted mirrors. I found a seller on eBay that was able to fabricate the cowl trims for the 41.

Unfortunately it was a few years back, otherwise I'd share the details.

If you know of a good metal man you could by a piece of hood trim and have the two pieces made if you don't find the originals.
