I have a couple of Unity S-5 spot lights that I want to use for my 47 coupe. The one I think will work doesn't have any markings on the bracket using the wrench for scale I figure it's about 12" long.
The other one I have, the light with the black wire, has 11L number which isn't Ford and is 2"-3" longer |

Watch where you mount them. The Steering Wheel and Knuckles are not good Friends

I took the spotlight apart and taped it to the A pillar, not sure of the exact placement, but I thought it looked like a pretty good fit. What do you think?

Opinion only, but I never saw a spotlight that was a good fit. If you ever decide to sell the car they are definitely a detraction.

Here is a copy of the mounting template for ford spotlights, should you need it. Make sure that you have the correct mounting bracket.

We had Unity spotlights on most of our mountain trucks at the phone company. They basically looked just like yours, unchanged. They only lasted a couple of years and then the switches would get so rusted up they wouldn't work, or they wouldn't swivel easily. We'd just replace the whole unit, (unlimited phone company money). We always kept a couple of them in stock in the parts room. When we brought those vehicles down off the mountain for a service, they had to go back up that same night. You're losing two-hours driving time. No time to mess with a spotlight that had issues, just throw a new one on. They always needed brakes all the way around and everything else the drivers destroyed; the mountains tore those trucks up and they kept them for over 15-years, mileage didn't matter. The drivers up in the mountains had to have the spotlights in the fog to spot the addresses on the houses or even to find the road they were driving on it. Sometimes when drove up there I had to do it with the door open just trying to follow the line in the fog, it gets nasty and dangerous up there, you couldn't t see the end of the hood on some nights. I don't miss that part of my job one bit. The Untidy spotlights worked well, when they worked.

If printed on an A4 sheet of paper the sizing should be correct,. I have attached a picture with a ruler for dimensions to help with sizing..
