Iam busy with the floor carpets on my 34 Ford Coupe. Having read the posts on the aftermarket rubber boots and the fact that in 33/34 there were none originally, i wonder if the shift tower was exposed through a hole in the carpet. The same for the handbrake.
Does anyone have a picture of what the original handbrake and gear shift lever to carpet finish would have looked like? What are the options or alternatives, besides difficult to install rubber boots? What did you guys use or have had made up? I would appreciate some ideas and suggestions, pics would be great! |

Wow that is awesome, looks perfect with the turret exposed, very neat on the handbrake lever. Excellent pictures. I will forward them to my upholsterer. Thank you so much for sharing. Regards Randolf |
