What do I have to? Today I was playing with a old carburetor , when I was putting it together I found that the carburetor drain plug is 5/8 and not the typical 1/2” I have been playing with carburetor for years and never seen this before ! What do I have also it has not been altered thanks for your input and help in advance Joe.

It’s a zenith 1 it’s earlier the one that does not have a jet for the GAV needle seat! just a little bit more information

Assuming it's part A9590 (under the main jet). All the ones I've ever seen are 1/2 inch. I assume the threads are the same( 3/8 -24) . I wonder if it's a farm yard repair years ago with whatever was on the shelf. PS It's the earlier Zeniths that had the the brass GAV seat - they went to the integral cast seat in 1930.

Not sure what their application. I think one had the adjustable flow for the main jet. Sorry no photos.
