Default 1951 Ford convertible pivot

Any thoughts on where I can get one of these pivots for my 1951 Ford convertible? Ome side is missing.

Things like this are one of the reasons I bought a cheap Chinese mini-lathe. I don't need to turn an axle housing these days, but whipping up something like this is a great project, especially when you have a pattern to go by.

I'd suggest calling Chris Robbins, he has many parted out 49-51 Ford & Mercurys. 610 442 2187, call between Noon and 10 pm.

Thanks for the tip. I called Chris Robbins, and he didn't have the part; but he told me to call Tim Halter, who is the Ford convertible top guru. I called Tim and he didn't have the part either.

Good news. Now you have no excuse not to be out in the shop, toiling away.

Still have other things to do. Just finished stringing the car to reset the toe-in at 1/16" each side. Always something to do.
