I'm ready to mount the left rear fender on my 35 convertible sedan and have
a question or two. If I mount the fender, can the filler pipe be installed with the fender in place or do I have to do the opposite by carefully lowering the fender over the filler pipe? |

I always fit the filler pipe after the fender is fitted. There is not a lot of room to swing the 'C' wrench that tightens up the filler pipe, leave the rear fender brace off until filler pipe has been tightened into place. That will give you more working room. You'll also want the tail light stalk in place so you can orientate the filler neck properly
