Nothing lost here,,, you tried every avenue of approach and was smitten by late 70's early 80's poor quality Model A parts...

You're right, Jeff! Putting the two light switch assemblies side by side is like night and day in terms of quality. The new one is SOOOOO much better! Gawd, did Model A repo parts in the 1970's and 1980's suck scissors! Newbies coming into the hobby since then don't know how good they have it, although I am seeing an alarming drop-off in availability of some parts. ![]() M |

Yes on that---- A friend is in the middle of a 1930 Coupe restoration and he has been telling me that he has been on the phone with most of the major Model A parts suppliers,and they have been telling him a lot of the sources for good Model A parts are drying up. Fast. Nobody is stepping up and filling the parts demand for many parts today. They are just letting their stocks run out. |
