![]() Can anyone help identify this 14" Ford Product Hubcap. Judging by the design of the Crest, I believe that it is Mercury. As it is 14", it has to be an optional wheel cover on a Montego or Cougar. I believe that it is around 1970. This wheel cover was purchase at a local Swap Meet to add to my collection of wheel covers. All I need is to know what model and year they were option for. Thanks for your help. |

I had a look at the back of these two Hubcaps, and there is a postage stamp size white sticker on both.
However, whatever was written on it has disappeared, as it is completely white. |

Look Here Trevor -
https://secure.cougarpartscatalog.co...ry-Cougar.html The cover was used on base trims, simulating styled steel wheels.

![]() Regarding this mystery hubcap, in addition to Gary's References, I got the following response from the Mercury Cougar Club:- Yes, that is a 1970 Mercury hubcap. It was found on Cougars. It is a 3 piece design and with a different center cap was used on a 1970 Mustang. There are 14" and 15" versions as well as for a 6" and a 7" wheel. On a Cougar window sticker it was called out as; WHEEL COVERS-RALLYE with a retail price of $15.60 and a dealer cost of $12.30 Part number is D0WY-1130-B |
