Default Water jacket Magnet

Harbor Freight magnet works great for getting inside the water jackets. Gets around the ports and tight spots.

As old as most of us on this website are, maybe we should run that Harbor Freight magnet through our veins and arteries to get rid of all the rust inside of us! The heck with the Model A's rust problems!

You need a fat magnet to clean out those arteries. Iron is supposed to be good for you.

Wick, Good idea. There are only a few things that will cause rust in the cooling system. One is running straight water. One other is an engine that has sat outdoors without any coolant.

Poor circulation is problematic, there is a service bulletins modification at the block inlet to move water around cylinders 3 and 4.

Might work for rust in the fuel tank too maybe?

The water pump will defeat getting coolant to flow around Cylinders 3 & 4. The water inlet needs to be moved alongside of Cylinder 4.

That’s why the Burtz head removes the large oval passage between cylinders 2 and 3. It forces additional flow around the back cylinders.

I wonder if anybody has ever tried putting a plate inside the water inlet to direct the flow towards # 4 cylinder?
