I may help someone pull the engine from their '35 soon and am interested in any tips folks may have and time estimates.
I have pulled the engine from my '39 pickup a couple of times, but there is a LOT more room in that engine bay. I am planning on the radiator coming out, but hope not to pull the grille or fenders. But, it's a really nice car so paint damage would be a disaster. Googling only gets me a little on '36 and '35 https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=333053 Any experience would be appreciated -Scott |

I suggest you pull the grill then the radiator. The motor mounts will give you headaches as the ears can get close to the inner fender panels. Wrapping those with padding maybe.Old furniture moving pads tucked in next to inner fender panels might help to avoid paint chips .
The trans coming out together with the engine? |

I agree with DeuceLover - the radiator and grill both need to come out especially if you have nice paint to worry about.
