Default 35 Radiator cap repair

Has anyone tried using the 32-36 pickup radiator cap repair kits available
from most part supplier' to repair a passenger car cap ???

Yes, The two 'ears' on the brass bottom piece are differing widths to each other...you'll need to dress down the wider of the ears to suit the opening in the passenger car radiator

I don't think it will work.Orig caps were riveted .Suggest you find an original.Drake made them but not sure they are still available. Fred at Southside Obsolete might just have a NOS.Contact him

deuce lover is correct in what he says, but I repaired my 35 pass car radiator cap with said repair kit!
