Default My car’s history

I bought a 36 Ford Deluxe Tudor from a gentleman who purportedly bought it from the estate of Bernie Weiss. It has a Dearborn regional group #67 decal on a side window. Does anyone know of Bernie Weiss and his collection? I called a phone number given to me by the president of group 67 supposedly belonging to Mr. Weiss but never received a response to the message I left on an answering machine.

The car shows 18,000 miles, said to be original. Either it is or a beautifully done older restoration probably 30 odd years ago.

The V-8 Club has a Judging Standards Committee that keeps records on those cars who have received awards over the years. if the car was entered in the concourse there may be records on it. Since you are in Illinois you might contact Ken Bounds(who is also in Illinois) and is the National Chief Judge. He may be able to tell you if the car has received any awards such as the Rouge Award for original cars. You can find him in the V-8 Club roster.
