Default Banjo Rear

Looking to swap out my stock 47 B.Coupe rear to late model rear. any idea which would be the easiest rear, and best cruseing ratio. Have stock 3 speed with no OD. New to these fat fenderd cars with enclosed drive line. Thanks.

You do realize that you have to modify the rear of the trans?

Best cruising ratio depends on several factors you haven't addressed:
Engine horsepower/Torque
Location flat or hilly
city or highway driving

If basically a stock early Ford, you already have the best differential. Relatively easy to change ratio to a wide range of stock Ford ratios. As pointed out in the previous post, to change to a modern differential would pose several major obstacles.
