Went to south Jersey yesterday for the annual Pumpkin Run. It's a nicely sized car show set amidst an old junk yard with lots of '40s to '60s iron rusting in the woods. I found the trim ring that I need for my project car and some other stuff. That kind of made up for having missed Hershey. But I also saw some jail bar Fords out in the woods. Here are some pictures for Gary:

All three appear to be heavy duty with dual rear wheels. The third picture looks like it has about 8 lugs on the wheels. The one before it has 5 lugs.

Wow, that's some jailbar yard art! Yes they all appear to be big trucks. I see some useable grill bars and a few other parts like a nice bumper, but with the current climate of old car collecting I predict they will most likely turn to soil if they don't get scrapped first. I love to come across a scene like this when in the woods. It's been a while, so thanks for sharing this collection of old iron!

Never mind the 3' diameter x 35' deep dug well with six rotten boards over it and some dead leaves composting on top of that.

PeteVS, thanks cause I like jail bar trucks too. Wish I had one like a friend had in 1961. A pickup with a 59a, dual carbs, chrome stacks etc. They are all cool to me.
