I have used mikes afordable 600w, no complaints other than it smells ghastly. Yuck!

Yes, that is exactly the one. It also comes in a 140 and 90 grade but that is beside the point now. I think there must be something out of the ordinary happening in your gearbox. I have never had nor even heard of a foaming problem. Puzzling!

I know this is probably of little use, but I had the exact same thing happen to mine. Foamed something fierce! This was a mostly rebuilt tranny that I did myself and cleaned and dried the transmission case completely. It was a total car rebuild. I used the 600w from Snyders. I couldn't figure it out either, so after some time I drained it out and replaced it with the same product. It hasn't foamed since. I still don't know why, but the condition is resolved. |
