Well I fired the engine up yesterday with no real issues, disappointed that it didnt fire first crank like the least one I did but I did play with the carbs
, no leaks all seems good except for the new clutch its horrible!! The flywheel was lightened, balanced , faced. It just seems to "take up" real quick and shudder bad if you dont slip it with revs .. Any tips would be appreciated ..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDhLKuxDAZ8

Where did you get the clutch from,New does not mean good.
shuddering could be oil or grease on the faces. did you clock up the flywheel face after you bolted it up to the crank? check the pressure plate? Lawrie |

,you assume that when you have them faced they know what they're doing..but .. . and pressure plate was one I'd used before . The big issue is it just engages quick and hard, just bang! and its on .. I have to get the timing really good, dropping down to second and if the revs aren't right bang! it just grabs, reversing is just a shuddering mess..
