hello
i may have a clogged vent hole in the shift tower. how do you check it and clean it? do you have to pull the shifter to clean it?

Just stick a piece of wire thru it.

Use a small drill bit and turn by hand

A torch tip cleaner works well .

If totally plugged a slowly hand turned drill bit and a source of vacuum to catch the debris.
