(and my load-o-matic was in pretty good tune)

Thank you Larry......that is a HAYES electronic unit. It ran a sbc for a while now it's all 8BA.

Google doesn't find a Hayes Electronic Ignition for me. Do they still make them?

After closer examination, the reluctor and pickup coil closely resemble Chrysler.

More good conversion work by Charlie!

Yup it's a Hays conversion- reluctor presses onto the cam and the pickup unit is basically a Chrysler setup. It's firing an old Clifford/Jacobs box.

Hays ignition is defunct but the son of the original owner runs the show in Prescott AZ known as Centerforce Clutch.
