You must have valve seats installed, otherwise the unleaded gas will cause burned valves.

Put a small block Chevy in that Model A. Street Rods are worth twice as much.

You need to change XYX to more "modern" parts to make the car really drivable.

One guy told me that it was smart to put the oil in the freezer before filling the engine for first startup after rebuiliding....
The oil warning light would would go out instantly! I did not follow his advise, and when I explained how oil systems worked he actually agreed that it would be smarter to heat the oil! Rune Waltoft from Norway |

A down draft carburetor works better than an updraft on a Model A. You have gravity working for you.
