You must have valve seats installed, otherwise the unleaded gas will cause burned valves.

One guy told me that it was smart to put the oil in the freezer before filling the engine for first startup after rebuiliding....
The oil warning light would would go out instantly! I did not follow his advise, and when I explained how oil systems worked he actually agreed that it would be smarter to heat the oil! Rune Waltoft from Norway |
