Can anyone provide a bit of advice about fitting the rear window and wood please. In particular, the four small corner blocks that are nailed into the main wood frame. How do I correctly locate them? They seem to act as support for the glass? Is it safe to fit the glass after painting the body? Thanks.

![]() ![]() ![]() These are the only 2 pictures I have of the rear window in my unrestored 2-23-29 Tudor. If they don't help, I can't get to the car for several weeks yet. |

The corner blocks give support to the window seal. I made new blocks for mine and epoxied them in place rather than using nails. The originals that I removed had split from the nails and were loose. I believe it is better to install the glass after painting. Gar Williams

Just got a new Snyder's catalog today and they are selling the corner blocks made out of Delron (sic) also known as Delrin; $10.75 ea. They say originals were made of Bakelite so I am not sure how they were fastened.

I have a 1930 Tudor and I have never seen any corner blocks in the original body before I started my restoration. Did the 30-31 Tudors have the same blocks as the 28-29? Thanks for your answer. Grant
