Does anyone recognize or know any history of this 30 rdstr. PU?? It was sold at Barrett Jackson in 2010 for just over $50K. Put in storage in Scottsdale AZ & never driven. I just went and checked it over, my uncle bought it for a third of the 2010 selling price. It's a very high end restoration by someone who went by the JS. It'll be shipped to the mid west next week. It's so nice I'm sure it's a repo body & bed.

Right rear tire looks like it's been driven through a hog wallow.

The truck was stored up in the air on a lift for 9 yrs. The tires are 475/19 Goodyear with metal valve stems. The tires have a brown film on them from storage. Being a Senior Judge & a Restorer's Class Evaluator I looked this PU over very well. I would say it's right up there with the ten best Model A's I've ever judged. The only thing I didn't see were side curtains.

It’s all relative. What 50k is to one is not to another....

I was told the guy that bought this at the 2010 Barrett Jackson auction is an airplane broker & deals mainly with airplanes & knew nothing about Model A's. One thing I forgot to mention is that it has a set of beautifully restored 1930 Michigan commercial License plates so this may be a clue it came from Michigan.
