Default 32 B PU steering gear overhaul

Took unit apart shows some wear , how much can be adjust out ? also best place to get parts for this ? can 15 to 1 worm and sector parts fit a 13 to 1 32 box ? sc

The 15 to 1 and 13 to 1 worm and sector are the same with regard to the steering box and sector housing. Changing the worm gear can be challenging and require a press to accomplish. You may wish to consider having a modern grease seal installed at the outer end of the sector housing as the original cork seals aren't very effective.

I used an original "seal" when I first rebuilt my steering box and it leaked a lot. I had a counterbore for a seal from an F-1 pickup machined in the end last winter and now it doesn't leak a drop. I use John Deere cornhead grease in it.
