a few years ago, I reproduced some of the rear window regulator gears (for 1946 - 1948 ford convertible..
![]() At that same time I also began the process of reproducing a repair part for the front window regulator.. Unfortunately these were never 100% completed, partly due to development cost concerns.. and honestly, because I had other more pressing projects waiting.. The photo above shows what I have available. I still have SOME rear quarter window regulator gears available.. their installation is simple.. drill out two rivets.. install 2 new rivets and you have a functioning quarter window again.. Because I never had these FRONT gears stamped to the correct shape, they would need to be cut and welded into your existing gear, which might just be a better idea anyway.. (for those familiar with these convertible.. TYPICALLY a non functioning window regulator is the result of one of these two gears stripping. ) I still have some rear gear repair parts available as well. pm with needs.
