3.78 Model A gears are available for what is likely your rear axle as only very late production '32 pickups were equipped with the late '32-'34 axles with the scalloped flange where the torque tube is attached to the rear axle center section. If that flange on your torque tube is round, then it is the early (and by far the most common) '32 axle and their ring and pinion gears are the same as those in Model A axles.

Here is a picture of the round flange on the torque tube where it attaches to the axle housing that David was talking about. Excuse the angle of the photo as it is out of the car. I have the readily available 3.54 gears in my '31 RDPU and am very happy with the ratio. If you haven't rebuilt a rear end before I would suggest taking it to an expert like Tom Endy (search name in Model A section). He specializes in Model A rear ends but might be willing to tackle a '32 or recommend someone.

Your 32 PU should do very well with 3.54 gears. I put 3.54's in my 35 fordor sedan two years ago, which is a bit heavier than your PU, and I'm very happy with this conversion.
