I just rebuild my original Ujoint and it came out beautiful. Have not put it in yet but now hesitant. Something I was looking at over the weekend mentioned balancing a Ujoint. I had not heard of balancing the joint and now thinking of the driveshaft as well. Any ideas or helpful hints while I have everything apart? Looking forward to getting it back together and going for a drive but NOT looking forward to taking it apart again for a while....lol. Thanks, Jim

Did you assemble the two halves of the U-joint in the same orientation as it was before? That should assure balance.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just be sure it has lots of grease. I pack them full.
