Can anyone tell me the numbers of ring and pinion counts for the different gear rations?
I have an extra rear end with a 9/37 R&P. I assume it is a 4:11 rear end. so, 9/37 = 4:11 what are the numbers for the other gear ratios? |

10:37 3.7/1 Very early 1928
9:34 3.78/1 Commonly referred to as the standard ratio. 9:37 4.11/1 Most suitable for pick-ups and load carrying or vehicles with a high overdrive fitted 11:.39 3.54/1 High speed excellent for the touring car. Trust this helps.
