1929 Roadster Almost done.
Enjoying my time in the shop this snowy winter. Almost done.
Working on the hood over the next month. Having a tough time finding Stainless rear and front bumpers. Snyders, Brattons, mikes. No one has any in stock and am being told won't be for awhile.  Before

Look at powder coating with near like chrome, you may not buy stainless bumpers.

While your work is to be admired, I'd love to acquire a car like you started with so I could fix it mechanically but drive it looking like it does in the "before" photo.

I think that you will find a good quality "Chrome" spray can paint will do just fine and look fairly decent - until such time as a suitable replacement becomes available. When I did my '30 Coupe with 'Chrome' spray paint, I was very pleased and it stayed on the car for years.

DI sprayed the bumper on my pickup with rattle can chrome.Looks good and if it gets scratched just do it again.
