The 1968 movie Bullitt with Paul Newman in the hills of San Francisco may be the best ever car chase. What say you?
Also, what movie has the best Model A car chase? |

I would vote on the early Keystone Cops films, they could drive a Model T down the railroad tracks right ahead of a steam locomotive ......

 Everyone knows the best car scenes (circa 1934) - including chase scenes - is 1967 block-buster Bonnie & Clyde ! ! !  It beats all others hands-down.

Neil, it was Steve McQueen in Bullitt, not Paul Newman, but Paul Newman did know how to race. Still one of my favorites.

Bonnie and Clyde was on TCM the other day. Lots of Model A's, the real thing (not CGI).

Bullet hands down. Trivia about it the part where they take off the driver door on the parked car was not planned because many of the scenes were filmed without permits and the car was a real person. Dangerous for sure but made it real and McQueen did his own driving
