Default Will Long snout 36 wide five drums go on 34 style spindles?

Hello! I am wanting to use the 32-34 spindles because of the integrated steering arm, but would like to use 36 wide five drums. I know 36 wide 5's have a longer outter bearing snout that 37-39.

Think I'll run into an issue? I'll be using 39 Lincoln backing plates with the spindle bolt spacing adjusted for the 32-34 spindle, so backing plate is no problem.

Thanks!

They should bolt up fine.

Jason,
Get in touch with Richard Lacey at Early V8 Garage. Just run everything by him. He helped me with my project. I am running early spindles with the 1936 wide five drums. I am using original 1939 Lincoln backing plates also. I have the original brake drums if I ever want to run wires.
