Default 1940 Hood Hinge Installation

This has probably been discussed many times before but any suggestions on installing hood springs and hinges on a '40 Deluxe hood? Thanks in advance, Tom

The best thread on alignment of the hood/grille/fender is by Kube... search for it and use it.

Repro hood hinges are not formed correctly where they attach the hood. They will need to be "tuned". I posted a guide a while back.

Use 1/4" bolts on the 2 forward holes of each bracket - not 5 /16".
Gives you some room for up and down adjustment.
