Anyone here on Facebook? I just signed up again after being gone for a few years. I'll be posting some pics and updates there also.

I have been advised that because I am self employed that Facebook is not a good idea. I therefore do not subscribe. Wayne

Great. I will post pics when I can of the build progress. Prus Jr. bored the cylinders to .060 over for the stuff he already has, but I missed out on being able to video that and post it.

I was thinking about the same thing as Bob.
I already spend too much time on the internet without signing up for more sites.

Ford Barn is cars, plain and simple, no drama other than oil type, white wall vs black walls.

Fact is Ford barn is just perfect as is.

1) I can post to Facebook immediately. It is more convenient. Others post pictures here for me.

2) I used the word ALSO.

also

adverb al·so \ˈȯl(t)-(ˌ)sō, ˈȯ-\
Simple Definition of also

  • : in addition
  • : in a similar way

3) I can post responses on Facebook that will not get me banned. If I said some of the things I need to say on here the posts would be deleted and I would be banned.
4) I will have other people looking that will never join the Barn. But, I'm already getting friend requests from people I have no interest in, so it probably won't be long until I get back out of that.

I started a FB page five or six years ago posting photos of my cars. Half the people who wanted to "friend me" were total strangers! Quit posting month or so later.

Just saw an alarming statistic in the WSJ the other day; FB users AVERAGE 45 minutes a day checking FB. Don't know about you guys, but I have better things to do for three quarters of an hour every day.

It's kind of like the CB radio craze years ago. A lot of people talking about nothing particularly important.

At Sam's club you have to buy too many Rick's Packs at one time, so I never got my card.

I strongly defend Facebook. In Model A terms I receive photos from many very interesting sources, especially Scandinavia and South America. The US owners' clubs sites have also given me a greater insite into Model A ownership than I would have got from this site alone. It always amuses me that the people who do not use or understand Facebook slag it off, it is very easy to set up security parameters and many of the group's that I belong to are members only.
It is a great way to share photos.
None of my ex-girlfriends have hunted me down!
