I found these pulling out a makeshift rear seat riser. Pretty interesting.

One 22 bullet and an old worn out dime. Left the dime in the body when I sold it might still have the 22 bullet some place.

When some club members pulled the body off an original car they found a dragonfly squished in the welting I believe. I think it went with the car when it got sold-framed of course.

They made those up into the 70s. Don't worry until you start finding just the bullets and not the cartridges.

When my buddy was restoreing his Jag E type, he found a dead, dried mouse. It was stretched out like the cat on the front of the car, so he painted it silver and mounted on a little podium and displayed it with the car at a Jag show. The Jag people were not impressed.

I found a 7 shot Sears Defender pistol in my Tudor. There was an old tin box full of tools, parts, and a broken glass jug of oil.The oil had turned into grease,so I poured some gas in it,covered it and left it outdoors for a few weeks.Every so often I would give it a stir, and after a while I started pulling parts out of it.I got most of the original tool kit,a dual wiper setup, some vulcanizing clamps, plugs, points, the gun and dozens of other little doo-dads.I thought the gun was stainless at first, but it is nickel plated, just preserved by the oil.It is more accurate then some other modern guns I have with the same 2-1/2 inch barrel.

You guys are lucky, usually all I find when I clean out the corners of a new to me vehicle is junk [emoji6]. Heard an urban legend years ago that someone used a 22 cartridge to replace the blown fuse, apparently with explosive results
Looking for the front bumper emblem that has "Ford, Made In Canada" |

I have found keys, coins and a cap gun while going through A,T and early flathead cars and trucks, but so far no bullets. Rod

Those are some crazy finds. I also found in another vehicle of mine some "Pimp Oil". That was the name of it. It was a car deodorizer. The funny part was I had searched the car numerous times before and out of nowhere there it was in the glovebox. I also found $120 in a old grass fertilizer tin can that was stuffed deep down in a trunk drain off crevice. I figured that was PO's emergency money.

Not in my A, but I did find an inexpensive girls necklace under the backseat of my '64 Buick Wildcat. It was broken near the middle opposite the clasp. Given its condition it had been there a long time. Since there's a lot of room back there I can only imagine how it came to be there
