1930 4dr.: My outside wiper motor on/off lever is about 1" off to the right from the notch in the header panel. Does anyone know the correct placement of the wiper on the windshield and the distance the notch should be from the left side? Howells makes a header panel but they don't answer my inquiries.

I was in that situation once too. I put my own notch in the header panel to match up with the holes already in the windshield for the wiper motor. Worked out perfectly. I would guess that it would be a 99% chance that if Howells put a notch in the header panel for you, that it would not match up with what you needed. Order it with out the notch, if possible.

If I could get a response to my questions from Howells that might be a good solution. My problem is I don't know if I have the correct windshield or the correct header for the vacuum wiper.

forever4, My judging standards only show a vacuum wiper for the 1930 4door sedan. |
