Can anyone advise as to the length of the standard 34 torque tube length,are they the same length for all models Sedan and Roadster?

All V8's are the same length within the passenger car line. Paul J.

For 1933-1934 Fords, regardless of what engine they had, 4 or V8, they were both built on exactly the same chassis & wheelbase. The difference in length is only in the Drive Shafts, to accommodate for the longer 4 cylinder engines.
The length of the Drive shaft in the V-8 = 60 5/32” while the Drive shaft in the 4 cylinder = 58 7/16” It follows that the Tube on the 4 cylinder was shorter by same amount. |

Trevor, from Ford of Canada Service Bulletin page 125:
18-C-4505 = 53 23/32" 40-C- 4505 = 61 7/8" 46-C-4505=60 11/64" No mention of body styles Drive shaft lengths are also given. Ted |

Torque tube for a 34 ford is part No. 40-4504 length for a v8 is 61 and 13/16
