Does the 3 5/16 bore require the big bore gasket or will the standard late gasket suffice.

No matter what your engine bore is, you should check your head gaskets on the individual deck they are going to be used on to see if the fire ring hangs over either the block edge or the head edge. The fire ring absolutely has to NOT be hanging out in space at any point or the gasket won't hold. Some brands work on some blocks. Other brands work on some blocks. Heads vary all over the place also. It's not cut and dried. |

My experience is that a 3-5/16 bore DOES require a big bore gasket. FWIW
