Default 1935 ford pickup 1/2 ton

Trying to locate an original inside door handle for my 1935 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. But I can't seem to find a match, I will try and post a picture for you. Any help would be much appreciated.

You might try Fred at:

He doesn't have a web site but if you email him, he'll let you know if he has such things.

You do not have an original inside door handle on your 35 pickup. I have posted an image of the correct handle. You can see that this handle was also used on 1934 passenger cars and has part# 40-702400. It should therefore be available thru Drake and Carpenter.

Don is correct except that from what I understand the supply of reproduction door handles was discontinued and are sold out for most parts suppliers. Hopefully you can find either some nice originals or a set of the very nice reproductions that someone no longer needs.

Thanks everyone I did wonder if it was the original one or not. That’s brilliant I knew if anyone could help then this site could as I have solved many problems through the threads. I am in England and have just come back from Kansas where my engine was rebuilt by Jerry at United Engine Specialists. I will post a picture. Thanks again people 👍

There is a fellow in Scotland that I think will be switching out his door handles from his 34 coupe to a better pair.I do not know the condition of what's currently in his car.The window regulators won't work as that are deluxe coupe .
