I don't know who has the best tank valve because I've only used restored originals.
I always install the added filter to them, even with a clean tank. |

If the screen catches debris inside - makes you wonder why they put a drain in the bottom? Bill

The screen must pass water, and the drain cock will dump the water. I know some screens are so fine that they can pass gasoline, but not water. I haven't tried that test on this screen.
