I'd like one, too, if someone has two of them...

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
Ian: Appears your level gauge could work for both the 97 and the 94 due to it's adjustability. That is as long as the screw thread on the wing bolt is correct.

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
97 and 94 use different 3/8 threads, don't remember which is which.
The KRW level gauges for 97 and 94 are somewhat similar to the picture but are not adjustable or rotatable...the 97 one is cast with angled banjo, the 94 type with straight banjo, and of course captive bolts to suit the application. Both are cast iron with basic body cast in one piece. I found both a few years back, not for sale nohow... As a start to building a working but not authentic looking replica, Speedway sells a 3/8 brake banjo fitting which could be turned into a gauge. Take a Speedway banjo, drill out the passage as much as possible for responsiveness and to minimize surface drag on fluid. Use the compression washers speedway sells with it. Speedway bolt is right threads for Stromberg and should also be drilled out just short of daylight...94 would beed a new bolt, drilled to suit. Debur and polish threads...you don't want them to chew away any metal from carb! Add any sort of tubing apparatus to turn upward and terminate it with clear hose or tubing and a simple bracket or hook to hold top part vertical and still in use by attaching to a lid screw. PS...it is a FUEL level gauge. Originally Ford and Stromberg did not publish a float level for the EE carbs, only fuel, to be checked with actual pump pressure. The Ford carbs did have a float level spec, but if anyone wanted to check the resulting fuel level against that spec a sight gauge was mandatory, unlike the Stromberg. Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
Are you still looking for a KRW V134 gauge? I'd like to sell one, but I'm in an awkward spot - I don't know what one is worth?

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
Just a comment here about the usefulness of the gauge: Ford discovered that any significant air movement past the gauge resulted in false readings. (The engine's fan) The gauges do make nice wall hangers, though.

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
I have a complete "carburetor" for a Southwind that would screw into a jet plug on a 94. That could be turned into a gauge, I suppose, but do to its scarcity, I don't want to. I have just the "carburetor" bolt/block that screws into a Stromberg jet well plug that I just may turn into a gauge.

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
After we all pitched in our 2¢ worth, it woulda been kinda nice to get just a bit more feedback than that.

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge

Re: KRW Float Level Gauge
You cut a "U" shaped cutout in the long edge the depth and width of the measurement you want to set the float at and just drop over the float when the top cover is upside down on the bench and adjust the float to the opening in the card. clear as mud right.I only use it on 94's. Stroms i use the one in the kit but leave about 1/16" space from the gauge to the float,so its slightly low. On the end NOT on the hump. ken ct.
