Default Ford quadricycle plans

George De Angelis used to have a web site and plans for sale. Anyone know where plans can be had now?

Hey Mike. I'm also in Florida (Cape Coral). I'm also looking for plans to build a Quad. If you find some, let me know.

Like many of you, several years ago I had a desire to build one too. The reason I 'stepped back' was after I watched the one George built being operated at Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village. They would start it up, then someone would push it to get it rolling and then make a quick loop around the block, and then park it. The issue with the engine is there is not any cooling system so the original-type engine overheats rather quickly, ....and even quicker if someone my size is the pilot!

If I owned one and invested all of that work, I would want to enter it in parades and drive it with my friends. Therefore for the estimated 1,000 hours of fabrication and machine time I would have invested, I believe I now would rather have a motorized highwheeler buggy instead. If someone is still set on owning an early Ford replica, then consider replicating the 999 or the Sweepstakes racers. Go big or go home!!

I joined this group on Yahoo a few years ago...

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...dersGroup/info

Costs nothing to join (HCR Builders Group... go to Yahoo, and click on Groups, then search for HCR ... Horseless Carriage Builders)

Nice guys just like here and you'll get plenty of help on every facet of your Quadracycle build. Have fun!

I plan to build one for campground or airport runner.

I was at the Henry Ford Museum a few years ago and took some photos of the Quadricycle and 999. I gotta agree with Brent, the 999 had my attention more than the Quadricycle!

Quadricycle. Tough to get decent photos: https://goo.gl/photos/zFfeqdxyWPETDg8e9
